Sustainable Cities – the author compiled studies by fellow students on cities with sustainable urban planning from around the world, including her own study of Chicago

Tiny Houses – the author, a set designer, designed and built 3-D models of tiny houses

Sustainable Entrepreneurship – the author studied green business models for start-ups in water conservation & composting in Denton, TX

The Lean Living Project – the author organized her family of five and achieved 30% monthly reductions in water, food, energy and waste.

A History of Containers –the author reviewed container design & use since early times

Environmental Education Before & After Gentrification – the author conducted ethnographic studies in neighborhoods in Houston, Austin & Dallas, to assess environmental education to maintain community and divert gentrification

Energy Independence & the Developing World (current student’s PhD Thesis project)- the candidate is studying how developing countries can achieve independence through resource efficiency and renewable energy strategies: Case Study- Kenya
